We can hear wedding bells… are you planning a wedding for 2019? Styleweek’s Bridal Showcase is a great way to kick-off your planning. There is an accessories showcase in the morning, followed by a runway show, featuring local dressmakers. Go for the inspiration or to find your dream dress. Designs from Spark Bridal, Aldo’s House of Formals, Candice Wu Couture and Arianna Nicola will be walking the runway.

Drag legend Lady Bunny is bringing her “Pig in a Wig” show to Providence this month! “Prepare for a dementedly fun time, as “Pig in a Wig” combines raunchy pop parodies, scandalous videos, over-the-top costumes, and enormous wigs to create an evening of unforgettable entertainment and irreverent humor.” Lady Bunny is the high queen of low comedy.

Island Moving Co.’s Junior Company is performing “Carnival of the Animals” for a fun, family-friendly activity. The evening begins with savory hors d’œuvres and a cocktail hour, followed by three courses of seated dessert tastings accompanied by signature sparkling cocktails from Gracie’s beverage team. The Providence Center for Media Culture and Brown University are hosting this year’s Providence French Film Festival. Whether you are a film novice or a French film fanatic, this festival is a fun way to experience something new. There are many films and showtimes. Be sure to plan ahead so you don’t miss anything.
